Hiatt Middle School students and staff will do more than sing carols to their families Thursday night. They will host the entire community for an evening of giving. Warm coats, hot food, holiday crafts and many warm wishes will go home with families in need. Click the image to learn more about this special evening.

The 8th grade girls basketball team competed in the first ever Middle School Showcase Saturday, December 13th at East High School. The girls had an amazing season, worked extremely hard, and improved dramatically over the past 2 months. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to the season!

The 1st Annual DMPS “Metro Girls Basketball Shootout” gets underway on Saturday, December 13th at 9:00 AM on the campus of East High School. Twice a month Amos Hiatt Middle School students in the “Litter”ary Club visit the ARL to read to the animals. The “Litter”ary Club students take a book of choice and reads to the dogs and cats for about an hour. The students and the animals enjoy reading and spending time together.
