Hiatt introduced new ergonomically correct desks and chairs. Classrooms will now have a standing desk option for students who would feel more comfortable in the standing position.

Hiatt was able to collect over 1,700 cans of food during their Food Drive. Great work Hurricanes!

Hiatt students were able to enjoy seeing some of their teachers and administrators get “Pied in the Face” because the school raised over $400 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Societies “Pennies for Patients”.

Congrats to Karina Murillo and Nyaneit Puok for being selected as our Hurricane Student Athletes of the Week. They have shown great citizenship and positive attitudes around campus while being leaders in Girls Basketball. Go Hurricanes!

Students who attend a Title I school in Des Moines may be eligible for tutoring services at no cost to their family.
